This Corsican witbier pours a cloudy beige-yellow-white colour with sediments (looking like small debris of metal found in water sometimes) all over the glass. Probably the coriander. The white head is small and the lace is medium. The nose is like Stella Artois and lots of lemon (the skunk not being so strong as SA). White yeast particules get together for a party at the bottom of the glass. Again, the Stella taste is present and so is the lemon. Pretty mild flavours and thin mouthfeel. Dry finish and aftertaste. Not a bad brew, but much better witbiers out there.

330 ml bottle. Hazy yellow colour, thick white head. Aroma of wheaty malt, citrus and spicy notes. The flavour is mild, with citrus, wheat and peppery notes. OK.

0.33 bottle from Alko (Ruoholahti, Helsinki). Looks like grapefruit juice with a head. Taste has also lots of lemon and grapefruit. Very refreshing. Taste has not much in common with average beer, but that’s the whole point with these Belgian style beers. The best Witbier so far I have tasted.

0,33l bottle from Alko. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is malts with some wheat and yeast. Flavor is malts with wheat, lemon and yeast. Pretty decent wit.

330ml bottle at Porterhouse Cork. Pours a cloudy whitish yellow with a lasting pillowy white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, candied fruit, bubblegum and fresh citrus. Taste follows a similarly sweet pattern, again lots of candied fruit, with a little bit of a bitter bite at the end. Quite sweet on the palate, and lively yet smooth carbonation. Reasonably nice beer, I thought.

Bouteille de 33 cl. Couleur blond pale, trouble, mousse assez abondante de tenue correcte. A la mise en bouche, elle fait vraiment neutre, voire insipide mais les arômes se développent petit à petit, des arômes subtils sans doute issus de ces fameuses herbes du maquis. Elle possède un bon potentiel désaltérant mais l’adjonction de la rondelle de citron sera bienvenue pour rajouter une petite note acide et fruitée. Carbonnation moyenne. Trouvée à L’entrepôt - Courcelles les Lens.

Hazy golden yellow beer that looks almost like mild orange juice. Big white head. It also has some fruit juice elements on the nose but the aroma is mild. Medium body. Quite a soft and juicy mouth feel. Hard to describe the flavors. Untypical wheat beer indeed. Refreshing change. It’s a bit like a mild combo of banana, pine apple and lemon.

Looks like coudy home made apple juice, big creamy white head leaves good lacing. Mild aroma is hard to analyze through big cream. Fruits and spices, lemon?, coriander. Taste has vanilla, apple, light body, light feel, tasty finish, milky, bit mild pepperish touch fo balance also. This is quite mild but I liked it, good soft flavors, nice feel, easy to drink.
