0.33l bottle from a small shop in thann.
pours a clear deep amber with a small white head and some lacing. aroma of sweet malts, hay. flavour of caramel, grains, grass, slight unusual nutty twang which is probably due to chestnuts. sweetish, with strong carbonation, some alcohol warmth, and a hint of bitterness towards the finish.

Amber with a Dos Equis aroma. A malty lager that would no doubt be chuggable at spring break in Cancun ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,33l Flasche. Hellbraunes Bier, luftiger Schaum. Es riecht nussig und nach Röstmalz. Die Kastanien schmecke ich kaum. Enttäuschend.

Bottle. Looks very attractive, with a malty aroma. Slightly metallic and sweet and first, but with a strong, bitter finish. I didn’t like this at first because it came across as being a bit thin, but it rapidly grew on me as it does have good body.

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2016 Butelka. Aromatu prawie brak, leciutko czuć dodatek kasztanów i karmel. Barwa złota, niska piana z niezłym lacingiem. Smak słodko-gorzki, niezbyt przyjemny.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2016 Had in Corsica. A beer made with chestnuts but is a fairly standard affair. Its very carbonated and has a strange taste which at its best gives a added complexity but at its worse tastes soapy. I would much prefer a good well hopped larger to this. But its a fair bit better then most cheap macro largers.

Clear amber golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, caramel, light chestnuts. Sweet flavour, caramel. Sweet finish, hint of syrup. Quite decent actually. Bit aged bottle, best before end 2015.
(from 25cL bottle @ home. Thanks for bringing the bottle, Pasmans!)
