12oz bottle 12/8/11 (Jack’s Mountain Home)-46° in English Pint-Pours a medium to dark amber with a small off white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, and bread. Taste of the same with a bit of hops coming through. This medium bodied brew is not bad.

Wow! Smells like freshly mowed grass, yet still good. This is good. A bit malty, but some late hops and a hint of caramel are nice. Could drink this one again.

Orange-amber pour into a thick, pillowy cream-colored head that slowly dissipates into melting lacing as carbonated bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass into a lingering layer of foam. Aroma of spruce, sweet nutty caramel, malty citrus, and yeasty biscuit. Initial flavor of roasted nuts and chocolate that fades into a lemony, citrusy finish.

bottle-pours deep copper hazy with a small fizzy white head. pretty boring looking. nose is bready, sweet and a little nuty and a little catty hops. flavors are nutty malt and quite a bit of ozidization. WTF is going on here? not good and deifnately pass this one!

Aroma: The aroma is caramel, hints of fruit and floral hops, and touches of honey and nuts
Appearance: It pours a caramel-brown color with a creamy beige head and some lacing
Flavor: The taste is light to medium sweet with some slight tartness to the finish
Palate: The body is pretty creamy, light-medium, with fairly soft carbonation, and fairly long duration
Overall Impression:
Overall, this was a pretty unexciting amber ale. Not a lot going on here, just a half decent beer. Really, this was basically just an average beer all-around.

Body is a moderate amber with a bit of haze. There is a huge off white head with a strong amount of lacing. The nose is a bit off with some cardboard and odd fruit plus a bit of bread and toast. The flavor goes far downhill with a bitter metallic bite and some cardboard. Weird tannic character as well. Mild bread, but that’s about all that is there that should be there. Feel is a bit thin and metallic. Not a fan of this one at all.

Bottle. Orange/amber pour with some haziness when held up to light. Nice big mostly-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is pleasant - toasted malts, caramel, and nuts. Flavor is a bit less interesting - a little thin and semi-metallic, definitely malt, but the aroma of the caramel & nuts doesn’t translate well to the flavor.

Bottle. An amber pour with a beige head. Aroma of nuts and chocolate. Has a sweet taste to it of chocolate and toffee. Finished decent enough, with a bit of a tart bite to it. I kind of think the same thing as their label says, oh, it’s "another Choc Brew". Yea, exactly. Just, "another middle-of-the-road, so-so beer." Not bad though!
