2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bif (529) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 13, 2010
Bottle- Pours a hazy amber color, with a small head and no lacing. Has a citrus and grain aroma with a trace of malt. Light citrus and malt taste with a mild bitter finish. Has a slight metallic aftertaste. Medium body, quite smooth and very little carbonation. Non-offensive amber ale. The label seems to present a depressing image/feeling. Beer came as part of a Choc 6-pack mixer.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 gururyan (304) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - OCT 1, 2010
From the bottle, an explosion of head. Have paper towels within arm’s reach. Pours a hazy copper, underneath a mountain of head. Actually, I think this tastes quite good...up there with another favorite Choc, Basement Batch.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Braudog (4473) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - SEP 13, 2010
Bottle. Underneath a giant pile of airy foam, this beer is rusty orange and exceedingly cloudy. The aroma is sweet and bready, and that character carries into the flavor. There’s a mustiness that leads off, with a light-bodied caramel malt beer underneath. (#3983, 9/13/2010)
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 rlaw (715) - Alabama, USA - AUG 2, 2010
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2011 Bottle. Pours amber with a huge off white head. Aroma and flavor of mild malt, caramel, some nuts, fair bit of alcohol. Finish is a bit bitter -- not flavorfully bitter, just bitter. Palate is fizzy and light. Certainly drinkable, but not very memorable.

Bottle from Mary’s. Hazy copper-amber color. Some cloudy points. Reddish malt aroma with sweet caramel scents. Tastes fairly dry with sweet malty flavors. A little funk taste though.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ibrew2or3 (4699) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUN 11, 2010
Courtesy of SHIG. Pours hazy copper with gold edges and white head. The aroma is an odd mix of roast, chocolate, malts, some mild citrus hops where that citrus note just doesn’t seem to fit. The taste is just as odd with lemon acidity and wort to go along with a touch of roast, chocolate, some citrus and maybe a dash of pine. Just seems weird.

12oz trade bottle from Ericandersnavy. It’s a non-amazing, but non-offensive amber ale that ticks off Oklahoma from my states list. Other than that, not much to say.
