A hazed blonde wit with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth fruity malt with light acidulated character, not bad. In mouth, a refreshing light wit with faint fruity banana esters, light coriander, OK. Bottle at Le Quincampe. BB 19-11-2015.

Very, very light yellow pour with a white head. Some spice notes of coriander and pepper. Lemony, grassy, and watery. Some honey a bit of straw, and light malt sweetness. The flavor is incredibly bland. Stale bread, water, coriander, and straw. Lemon, a bit of grass, and maybe a hint of honey. Needs more camel.

Very interesting beer. My guess is there was way more yeast pitched in this beer than was necessary. The nose reminds me of a yeast starter or liquid yeast. Pours pale cloudy white with two fingers of white, loose, rocky, sticky head. Nose is very yeasty and bready, raw bread dough and a touch of acidity. Earthy, barny, slight ester content, and a touch of citrus. Smells like a yeast starter. Very light flavor with a touch of acidity. Kind of ’feety’ and bready. Strange. Lively carbonation and grassy finish.

Bottle in Paris resto. Golden yellow body with nice soapy head. Nose citrus, sprightly. Taste is also citrus and faint bananas. Pretty good but not overpowering enough for my tastes.

fiulijn (14315) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 26, 2012
Bottle from la Cave à Bulles, Paris
Cloudy pale blond color with medium sized, persistent head. It’s a light bodied beer, where the aroma and flavor show a strong character of cereals, bread and baking yeast; it’s dry with correct bitterness.
I had better low alcohol beers, but we can’t say this is too bad.

Quack-Duck (7773) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2012
bottle from Cave a Bulles Paris. Cloudy, extremely pale yellow, large white head, very persistent. Wheaty and yeasty, slightly fruity, very light-bodied indeed. Not over-carbonated, just right. Refreshing light beer that, in my opinion, is closer to a German Leichtweizen than to a witbier.

Bottle at Ungstrup. Hazy yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of berries and spices with notes of yeast and sulphur. Fruity flavour of berries with notes of spices and yeast. Spicy finish.

Papsoe (25090) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque yellow with a white head. Yeasty nose. Light body, yeasty and again heavily phenollic. Ends dry and tart with no bitterness. Not entirely horrible for once from this brewer, but still a drainpour. 090212
