Light yellow body, quite yeasty - like a witbier - with white, quickly disintegrating head. Lemon start, quite bringing out sharp yeasty, soapy and generally a cleaning agent smell. Taste is also unpleasant, light sour and soapy. Thin bubbly body. Salty and vegtable aftertaste. Strange brew and certainly not nice. I knew this was going to happen and I still bought it. I’m such a sucker for beer ticks... (75cl bottle from the Cave des Producteurs de Vouvray wine tour and tasting room :)

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of citrus, some fruit, but mainly nasty phenolic. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty bad.

Bottle from Cave a Bulles. Pours dishwater gold (or dirty orange juice) with a transient fizzy white head. Aroma suggests citrus. Sharp carbonation. Near med body. Flavor is citrus, and it seems more of a wit than a standard Belgian. There’s some yeast in the finish, and it’s rather refreshing in a light citrus manner.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a huge off-white head - seems over carbonated or infected. The aroma has notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, moldy hay, and malt, leading to a dry moldy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with a huge and frothy white head leaving quite some lacework. Heavy yeast and phenols in the nose, a little fruit as well. Medium body, again all horrible fermentation errors, this is more phenol soup than anything else. Goddam awful! 090212
