This may not be the exact same recipe as the original version, brewed by the now defunct Minnesota Brewing Co. Something is off on first whiff; bitter, but off-notes are apparent. Good visible carbonation. Gold in color with a huge head, White head that is mostly evaporating. Lace is fair. Very nondescript flavor, but hops comes out as it warms. Hops keeps this from being a below average American Light. Still, it should only be an option for the bargain beer buyer.
