bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jul 29, 2008 (Can, courtesy of Mar) Pours a clear pale yellow with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of mustiness, grass, and light floral. Flavor of corn, grass, and metallic with a dry finish. Bhops (329), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 15, 2008 can courtesy of mar. pours clear yellow with thick white head. Aroma of sweet malts and syrup. Slight metallic flavor with muted malts, not much else. Watery and thin. Not much going on here but not offensive. BeerGestapo (725), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 1, 2008 (USA) Courtesy of AFI96, Thanks Waylo. Pours a golden color witha dissipating white head. Aroma is skunky, and the taste is slightly bitter and very boring. To think some people like this stuff is offensive. afireinside96 (807), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 3, 2008 I picked up a case of this stuff last night on sale for $17. The lady at the distributor told me that there was a small loyal following to it. Here goes nothing. Poured from a 12oz can into a footed pilsener glass. Gold in color with a big foamy head that quickly dies down. The liquid is a little still for a pilsener, only the odd bubble of carbonation here and there. Smells of malts and grass, slightly sour like a lambic. Sweet syrupy flavor that also has some lambic character. I guess their sanitation routines aren’t the best up in La Crosse. Actually if it weren’t for the faux-lambic contamination this beer would be extremely boring, but the sourness actually adds a slightly refreshing element to it. It will take me awhile but I guess I can work through a case of this. WesKBob (317), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA May 31, 2008 Very simply, it’s like Coor’s with a better label. Just your typical skunky tasting American lager. I wasn’t really expecting a whole lot out of this, but was still disappointed. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA May 21, 2008 12. oz can. yellow pour with no head at all. malts and not much else on the nose. nothing but malts with some slight spices. OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Jan 6, 2008 Skunky tasting pilsener. I didn’t think it was that bad but I wouldn’t drink this again. Good cheap attempt at a beer. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA Jan 3, 2008 Found this gem up at Shangy’s in Pennsylvania. I didn’t even make it to the counter when the girl behind the counter said ’Just the Pig’s Eye?!’. I can’t believe something like this exists. This stuff is rough at best. Don’t get me wrong; I can enjoy a cheap beer with the best of them but this is off-centered. I really don’t know what is smells like but it is putrid. Better going down and the hops are clear (thankfully). Very interesting.
