COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Check out our website at http://www.pigseyebeer.com/Main.htm Pig’s Eye Pilsner is the flagship brand of the award-winning Pig’s Eye Family of brands. Pig’s Eye Pilsner is contract brewed by Stevens Point Brewing (and possibly City Brewing) with 6-row robust barley malt and a combination of Cluster, Cascade and Fuggle hops, to achieve a balance between bitterness, aroma and malt sweetness. Enjoy!

Sampled at the 2009 Great Nebraska Beer Festival. The beer has a huge color difference versus pigs eye lean. This is dark gold with a thin white head. Has a strange aroma of male hogs. The beer is not as disgusting as the lean, I suspect there is lots of corn or rice here. The finish is metallic.

(12oz can thanks to swalden28) clear pale yellow with decent bubbles. Nose of skunk, corn and sugar, nasty! Taste of old grain mash, sugar, alcohol, buttery with a cola-like soft carbonation.

Thanks to swalden28 for sharing this can. The beer pours a clear light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is that of grain and lemons with not too much more. The flavor is mainly grain, lemons and yeast but I also get some metallic notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Can thanks to swalden28. Pours with a pale, clear yellow body with a fading white head. I really don’t get much in the way of anything beyond water on this one. Aroma might be grassy and lightly citrusy. Taste is very light, some corn, some urine. Watery!

Can, $3.69 a 6 pk Wow, I understand why!. Pours a clear gold with short lived white fizzy head. Aroma of corn and grain and cereal. Flavor of sweet corn, grain, a bit of pilsner. Mouth feel is light body with extremely high carbonation. Overall......Nasty....Give me a BMC to wash my mouth out with! I never want this again!!!!!!!

This isn’t any freaking better then when I rated it when it as brewed up in Minnesota! Corn water look/taste. I should give it a notch lower because it doesn’t have the pirate on the label any more!

Pours a very pale color with a big white head and some lace. The aroma is grainy and corny with some vegetal notes. The flavor is fruity and clean with far less offensive notes than the aroma. As expected it’s kind of watery.
