Oct 9, 2008 Canned. Poured clear, extra-bright golden with a 1/2" cap of white head and a little rising carbonation. The had sweeter honey and corny notes with a touch of citrusy hoppage coming through.. a little bit of warmth brought out medicinal and near-vegetal off notes. The flavor opened with honey and corn sugars with little real bitterness around (did get some sour lighter fruit and medicinal notes, though).. finished dry with pale malts and sour citrus. Light-bodied with heavier carbonation on the palate.. didn’t flow very well, nor were there a lot of components to be excited about. P.S: This was not skunked.. it just wasn’t a very good beer.

Jul 21, 2004 Kind of a skanky, not skunky, aroma. No taste worth mentioning. I was hoping it wouldn’t kill me, and it didn’t. Woo hoo.

Dec 2, 2008 Can poured a clear yellow with a diminishing white head. Aromas of corn and light straw. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a watery finish. Flavors of corn and a hint of straw with a smooth clean watery finish.

Oct 9, 2005 Not as bad I feared it mght be. Light yellow color, little malt hop aroma, and a flavor of corn and hops. Decent body. Not bad, for a beer in the economy category.

Nov 30, 2008 Look at the description. Do you see all those wonderful hop varieties listed there? You would think that something...SOMETHING... in the way of hop character would awaken the senses on the palate. No. Corny, grainy, sweet, bland, watery.

Mar 17, 2005 The beer after its release from the 12-ounce can sets in the glass a cloudless gold with a towering white frothy head that after its desiccation leaves a thin sheet of lace to conceal the glass. Nose is sweet malt, fresh and crisp to the senses, start is sweet with a light grain profile and the top thin. Finish is stern in its acidity and the hops light in their spiciness, dry aftertaste that lingers, a light beer lover might find this tolerable, I find it way to light for me.

Dec 11, 2005 Poured from a can that was given to me by Todd. It was free, so I figured I’d try it. It pours to a huge fizzy white head that sits atop a really active golden body. The head disapates to leave a bubbling body. The aroma is malty corn silage. Strangely, the flavor isn’t half bad. Not really exciting, but WAY more drinkable than a BMC beer. I get mostly silage and actually get some hops in it. The palate is a bit watery but isn’t astringent or sour or anything bad.

Oct 23, 2005 GABF 05. Pours a pale and blurry gold with a sour hops aroma. Flavor is vintage Cheap Beer, and the palate is water.
