Cheers Jack. Clear amber beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Light palate, semi dry and a little crisp. Light lagerish malt - a bit papery. Super mild citrus. Semi dry finish. Just about passes muster.

Bottle, thanks to Jackl. It pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The nose is earth, light floral, malty, umami aspect and smoked ham. The taste is earth, toast, brown bread, decent bitterness, some underlying sweetness, metal and faint spice with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and average carbonation. So-so at best.

Bottle @ Bruce’s. Cheers to a generous co-worker who brought this back from Oz. The pour’s dee gold with a tiny head. THe nose is graham cracker sweetness. General grains and honey. Only a hint of mild hops. White bread. The taste is more of the same. Sweetened bready body, a bit of caramel. Softly hoppy finish. Pretty inoffensive stuff that’d be fine to kill at a barbecue. Overall, a decent beer. Sort of tastes like a bridge beer for craft converts.

A pleasant aroma of butter, peaches, malt and hints of citrus got me excited about this beer, only to let me down in the tasting. The palate is a little weak with very little of the malt body promised by the nose. There’s a moderate amount of grapefruit that gives this beer a refreshing Summer taste but it’s ultimately a little disappointing.
