3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear straw colour with very little head. Reasonable aroma - hops, vegetable with some floral hints. Light body and carbonation. Crisp fruity floral foretaste with a fair amount of bitterness in the finish. Quite a nice beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hope that the recipe has changed since earlier ratings otherwise I must be getting soft in my ratings. Bit of a let down in the looks department but this pleasant offering made up for it in what is most important. It produces a sparkling yellow gold and donned by a paper thin sheet of white. The carbonation very sluggish, fine and intermittent. Pleasant, ripe citrus and tropical fruit on the nose over just a touch of grass and palest grains - very fresh, very clean. Nice, grainy malt profile gives it a little depth over those dominant fruity hops. Medium bitterness, crisp and short in the finish but residually sweet so drinking this chilled is highly recommended. Light bodied with very lively carbonation. Honeydew and grapefruit comes to mind with a lingering lychee note on the tongue. Overall a refreshing number; I thought this was a decent Summer quaffer. (33cL, BB 25/07/13, Liquor Baron’s Hillarys)

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle. Light straw colour with a moderately lumpy white head that looks like freshly fallen snow. Zesty citrus aromas are pleasant enough as is the flavour, which is light and dry with a strong finish and smooth in the mouth.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
From a 330ml bottle on 14/1/2012. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small head. Has a modest grainy aroma. The flavour is sweet malt and a touch of citrus. For a pilsener, it has a disappointing hop profile. Just barely better than bog standard macro pale lager.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
330ml stubbie. BB 25/Jul/13. Poured a clear but uninspiring pale amber with a thin white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. Moderate carbonation seen by small bubbles forming trails. Aroma not much, may be a hint of hops. Taste initially nothing then followed by an unpleasant yeast taste - not nice. Low bitterness. Light body bordering on watery. An unpleasant sour yeast finish.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Another disappointment in a poor crop of new beers at this years mini-beer fest at Sydneys Australian Hotel. The Pigs Fly pale ale is passable but this "pilsener" misses the target by some distance. Piss yellow colour with a poor head. Eccentric aroma of canned pineapple and Seltzer - very medicinal with no obvious Saaz. Fizzy palate. Weak malts, low ibu for the style and that nagging Seltzer note. Problematic. Avoid. [Bottle at the Australian Beer Festival, Nov 2008]
