Bottle. Pours a deep honey amber with medium off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon and freshly baked bread. Flavor is malty and a bit spicy. A departure from most winter seasonals. Me likey!

Cinnamon and overripe orange aroma. Cloudy copper, thick sticky yellow head. Orange and nutmeg flavor, tangy. Alcohol not noticeable, no moving parts, only mildy enjoyable. IMVHO,the common pitfall of spiced ales is the overuse of nutmeg. This beer is an example of that. Then again, maybe I’m overly sensitive to nutmeg.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Drake (6594) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2011
Bomber from Total Wine West Richmond. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toasted and toffee malts, citrus, spice, tea. The taste is citrus, toasted malts and a spice bouquet finish. Medium bodied.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 CampesinoTino (618) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Bomber. Pours a light copper color with off-white head. The aroma is mostly orange citrus, malt, brown sugar and allspice. The flavor starts out with a heavy dose of nutmeg, coriander and orange peel followed by some bready malt, clove, herbal hops and cinnamon notes. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with strong carbonation and a mildly sweet and spicy finish. The overall flavor offers a pretty good balance between the holiday dessert spices with the malt and hops.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 taphandle (1135) - Texas, USA - NOV 2, 2011
Brown, super thick light tan head. Orange and spice aroma. Taste is lots of caramel and light on the spices. Finish is more buttery caramel. It might be one of my favorite winter/holiday beers.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 nick76 (4086) - Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 29, 2011
The aroma is malty and more than a bit hoppy with spice and citrus. The appearance is deep orange/amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a better than average beer but not that special.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Palidor19 (2742) - Brandon, Florida, USA - OCT 29, 2011
there are many faults to this beer. its slightly thin and has a astringent to the taste. but its got a nice slight pumpkin taste. nice malts and hops decent, not great but very drinkable.

pours brownish almost amber color. light off white head. aroma wasnt much to pull, slight malt blended scent, but not overwhelming. tasted malts on the tounge, but couldnt extract more flavors or tastes. disappointed as Pike has produced some great brews and doesnt hurt I work 3 blocks from the brewery downtown.
