Tap at brewpub: I had this a while back and am just now rating it. Clear brown with a small off-white head. It has a simple perfumy and sweet hop flavor. The texture is creamy with lively carbonation. The aftertaste is all about celery and sprouts and other light bitter notes.

Draft at brewpub. Pours light copper with a foamy off white head. Weak aroma. Flavor of toffee and a caramel, with some slight citrus notes and melded hops mid palate. Finish has a slight soapiness, with a lingering resiny texture.

This draft brew from the brewery Currently being marketed under the Finkel’s ESB titile poured a medium sized head of foamy bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated golden and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was strongly tingly at the start and weakly tingly at the finish. The flavor containe bitter hop notes that were strong at first then faded into its finish with a lingering bitter mildly biting aftertaste. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Draught sample at Pike. Mild fruity aromas. Light biscuit and toffee, subtle but very nice. Dark amber clear with huge foamy off-white lacing head. Medium heavy body with medium carbonation, but goes down very smoothly. Nice bitter. Very fruity with biscuit and dry sweet nutty character. Lovely hops finish with dry nutty bitter after. This is a really nice bitter, very fresh and very enjoyable. I hope this won’t become just a one-off.
