COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On the palate Harlot’s Harvest is round and rich with a burst of caramel and molasses yielding a smooth sweetness reminiscent of pumpkin pie, and the boldness of a Belgian, monastic-style, strong dark ale. Savor it naked or clothed in the bounty of the season! To dress it appropriately, Charles Finkel designed the seductive label.

650 bottle to taster Motor oil, pumpkin, nutmeg, malt. Deep reddish amber with a tan head. Light alcohol, nutmeg and late bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, silky, and there's a small late alcohol burn.

Sampled with Kristen down at the beach. Semi Clear brownish amber with small tan head. Aroma and flavor is just lacking, all the notes that you expect with a pumpkin beer just sort of hide in the background. Not much pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon ,etc. There is lots of caramel and toast. Pumpking... it aint. but it’s not that bad either. But the label and the name are pretty sweet ;)

Bomber from Total Wine Virginia Beach. Pours a hazy red color with a medium sized foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, pumpkin spice, toasted and herbal notes. Faint earthiness. The taste is pumpkins, toasted malts, caramel and a weird canned tomato thing. Medium bodied. Disappointing.

My second "Pike" beer and its one of my favorite styles so I had high expectations! It pours darker than I would have expected and smells more like raw pumpkin than pie. That being said the balance is unbelievable for the ABV similar to the double IPA of theirs I tried. Overall it is really well done because it is not sweet but the pumpkin flavor is in balance the profile and the alcohol is masked. TRY IT fall beer lovers.

Not all that pumpkin-y. More spice in the aroma. Very malty aroma and flavour with some sweetness. Tasted lower in alcohol than it is. Very sweet, rather too sweet finish.

Pours a dark brown with a red tint with a medium tan head that fades and leaves ok lacing. Smells of pumpkin, spices, and caramel. Tastes of pumpkin, molasses, caramel and nutmeg with a touch of cinnamon. Moutheel is medium bodied and creamy with decent carbonation. Overall this is a pretty good beer for Pike. I like that its a little different from a lot of the pumpkin beers around and they did a good job masking the abv.

22 oz. bottle- Pours dark brown to red with a way too thin head that reduces to a thin collar of big ugly bubbles. The aroma is pumpkin spice, not much else. The taste is creamy, smooth, pumpkin spices and real pumpkin. Body is medium, to almost kind of thin, was hoping for a fuller body, carbonation is somewhat high. Overall a straight up good pumpkin beer. Very similar to most of the other beers in this style. Unfortunately the appearance kind of killed the score, kind of an ugly beer.
