Okay but not very flavorful. Had all of the right flavors just not enough of them.

Schooner at the brewpub. Dark copper color, too thick to see through. Strong head that leaves a ridiculous all encompassing lacing on the sides of the glass. The beer is surprisingly malty, which seems to hide the hops. Fortunately, its not caramel and the hops are low on bitterness. Unfortunately, as with the recent batch of the DIPA, there is a touch of diacetyl. Its hidden well enough when the beer is cold.

Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy medium amber with a loose and sudsy white head. Big sweet sharp orange pith and grapefruit nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet caramel with sharp and oily bright oranges and grapefruits on the mid palatw. Long resiny finish. Good beer.

Draught. Pours a very hazy copper color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is earthier than I expected, with some floral bits coming through as well. Taste is a little sweet and fruity, with some grass coming through as well. Feels smooth, though slightly heavy.

On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out strong resinous and piney hops, some herbal notes and a nice malt backbone. Flavour brings out loads of resinous hops, balanced beautifully by a solid malt backbone. Super full-bodied, very hoppy, but without any real astringency. Wonderful stuff - very refined and elegant for a triple IPA.

On tap @ Brouwers. Pours cloudy medium orange with thick white head. Aroma is sweet boozy malt and big tart citrusy and pine hops. Taste is clean, sweet sticky caramel malt with quickly bitter hoppy finish that fades fast. Nice notes of citrus, pine, and grass. I liked this one a lot.
