12 oz bottle from New Seasons - Made it to the final four in the 2009 IPA competition. Pours with a nice frothy 1" head. Beautiful copper hue. This is a very smooth, very enjoyable beer. I’m looking forward to my next visit to the brewpub!

Dark gold, with very little head. Thin, with almost no body. The heavy pine aroma denotes IPA, but this beer fails to live up to the modern interpretation.

A noticeable but not strong hop aroma. This is pretty good. Starts off relatively light and the hops grow as it goes.

Bottle from Scrizzz (thanks!) Slightly hazy orange pour, little carbonation and some sweet hops. Flavor is very bitter/herbal hops and finishes dry and slightly stale. Ok brew, worth a try!

Pours a golden light brown with an off white head and plenty of lace. Aromas are peppery, earthy and slightly funky. Tastes of floral, piney, citrus...not too bitter. Palate is slightly thin, but overall well done.

Bottle trade from scrizz, thanks buddy. Pours a cloudy amber with a thin off white head. The head is lasting and laces okay. Has a nice hoppy aroma with a musty undertone. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is real good. Plenty of pine citrus and just a hoppy blast of light bitterness. Has an oily texture with a great mouthfeel. Has a medium body. The finish is strong with a good aftertaste. This is very tasty.

16 oz bottle (Marcello’s, Lafayette, LA) - Aroma: mod piney (hops), low citrus (hops) Appearance: pale orange, white-orange head, cloudy; Flavor: low sweetness, mod acidic and bitter; Mouthfeel: dry, light to mod bodied, mod carbonation; Overall: nice hoppy (like the piney), low malty beer.

A nice well balanced British style IPA. The menu lists this as one of Protz’s 300 beers to try before you die. I’m not quite as sold as Protz. Amber color with a pine bouquet. Sweet malt in the middle tastes of almost worty.
