frink (467), coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada May 4, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange/amber with a thin tan head. Medium hop aroma, citric with some woody notes.Flavour of citric hops with some summer fruit as well, wood notes, floral highlights with a nice bitter finish. A tasty IPA. Hoss (602), Florida, USA Apr 10, 2007 I had this on Tap at the Pikes Market and was pleasantly surprised. Nice IPA bite without being over the top boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Mar 27, 2007 Updated: Mar 28, 2007Tap...came out a hazy, dark amber with a thin white head. I got this at their bew-pub on 1st in Seattle and they served it slightly chilled at just the perfect temperature. Hoppy, bread-like aroma. Had a smoother palate for an IPA that I really enjoyed. The hop flavors were mild at first and I got more sweet flavors like honey, caramel, and malt that were than followed by a sharp, piney hop finish to balance it all off. hayduke (1621), Eureka, California, USA Mar 26, 2007 From a 12 oz bottle this poured a nice hazy orange in colour with a nice while head and good lacing.. Nose has a hoppy floral aroma with citrus, caramel, and some spices. Mouthfeel is rich and oily and flavor is of floral hops and lively caramel malts. Good strong bitter finiish. A solid IPA and easy to drink and enjoy; Zinister (1199), Houston, Texas, USA Mar 13, 2007 Thanks to Carter for this brew. Pours hazy orange copper with little head. Nose escapes me at the moment. Flavor is malt forward with pink grapefruit coming through along with some pine (but not much). Finish is clean and quick, which makes me want more. Nice IPA. Just noticed a grapefruit flavor left on my tongue....which I don’t mind at all. cyanescens (156), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 11, 2007 Um. Its pretty good. Its strong and bitter, alcohol is smooth but present. Sub-rich body. Decent IPA. GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 12, 2007 Draught sampler at the brewpub. Light copper colour. Big aroma of sweet malt and grapefruity hops. Decent body. Hoppy flavour. Good, but a bit predictable. DuffMan (2723), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Feb 5, 2007 Loved this one for the generous malt that balances out the strong citrus/resin/wood hop character (which is also very generous). A fruit-floral element is present too, vaguely tropical (lychees maybe?). Very nice.
