Clear amber, moderate to small head, average lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, floral, toast. Flavor is not overly bitter, tame for a PNW IPA but very well balanced. Enjoyable. Something different than the usual blast of PNW hops... yet still interesting/tasty.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a cloudy medium orange color with a fluffy off white head which dissolves into a thin layer of bubbles. Aroma is of sweet malts, hay light hops and citrus notes. Taste is of sweet malts, roasted grains, nice hops bitterness, and a hint of citrus. Medium bodied, well carbonated and smooth. Ending is of roasted grains and hops bitterness.

This India Pale Ale pours a copper orange color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and grapefruity, fairly juicy. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are caramel and bready. Hops are citrusy and grapefruity. A medium to high bitterness IPA. Good balance. Lively carbonation. The hop bitterness balances and contrasts nicely with malts sweetness. Slightly juicy hops at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On tap at Pike Pub, Seattle. Copper, beige head. Earthy hop grapefruit, cascadey, resinous. Reasonable in mouth. Intense IPA hop finish with more grapefruit. Very astringent. Good intensity. Malts disappear relatively quickly to leave astringent earthy hop finish. It’s fine if a little basic and simple

Bottle: Cloudy orange color with a small white head. Aroma, citrus, grapefruit, and a bit of caramel. Flavor, oranges, caramel, spicy hops and citrus. Dry on the finish, lingering bitterness. Pretty solid IPA.
