Jun 24, 2005 Nicely done, a coppered bodied brew with a heft yellowish head and an aroma of orange blossoms and rose petals. The solid, caramel malt backbone has a bit of a juicy, citric fruit taste topped with some mild floral hop bitterness. This is kind of an easy-going, relaxed IPA, but very tasty and refreshing.

Jun 20, 2005 Bottle. Pours copper color and clear with a small foamy white head. Aroma is sweet ripe fruits - orange and peach - a bit of honey with nice counterpoint of floral and earthy hops. Flavor also very sweet, again ripe fruits with lemon grass and spruce hops and a hint of pungent spice in the aftertaste. Medium body and very smooth and mellow carbonation. Good, drinkable IPA.

Jun 18, 2005 On tap @ Pike: Light Amber with a medium beige head. Citrus fruit in the nose, sweet, lemony, pine....nice hop flavor too. One of their better brews!

May 19, 2005 Draft @Pike Pub. Clear copper with very small bubbles, Wispy head has great staying power and leaves lots of sticky lace. Biscuit, hop, and slight tropical fruit aromas. Fruity malt and piney hop flavors. Medium body, smooth, zesty. Long resiny, bittersweet finish. Bitterness is a little harsh. Overall, a solid American IPA.

May 13, 2005 Dark amber colored liquid with a hazy quality. Fine head. Nose of tangy acrid hops. Taste full and powerful, but not opressive with hops. nice clean if robustly tangy finish.

May 5, 2005 Bottle... Hazy orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Nose of citrusy, floral, piney hops... the whole ball of wax. The flavor is resiny and piney. Moderately bitter with notes of toffee and grapefruit. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, clover finish. Thanks go out to scraff for sharing.

May 5, 2005 Dark amber, creamy off white head. Nose held soft notes of juicy grapefruit, earthy pine, sweet toffee brittle, and a slight hint of florals. Very well balanced with the citrusy hops and sweet malty backbone playing off each other nicely. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying, bittersweet finish. Good session IPA. Thanks go out to my neighbors for grabbing this and a few other brews for me on their tour of Seattle....

Apr 19, 2005 Dark golden brown color with a medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma with apricots and grapefruit notes. Well balanced, full malts with a moderate hop bitterness. Some citrus and light notes of rye. Well crafted IPA.
