| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 30, 2009 Bottle, from Central Market. Poured cloudy amber with quickly dissipating head & no lacing. Smells of white grapes, lychee, honey and very yeasty. No strong hops smell. Taste was roasty-toasty, biscuity, alcohol forward and not as bright as other IPAs. Coats mouth with flavor (thick for an IPA). Dry finish, noticeable but pleasant boozey marmalade toast aftertaste. daknole (2895), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Bomber. Amber pour, nice white head. Aroma is full of floral and citrus hops jump out on the nose. Some light caramel notes lead me to believe this will be a well balanced and delicious IPA. Yep, I was right. Clean and crisp. Just the right amount of citrus bitterness and malt backbone. Very smooth. Nice stuff. scrizzz (1266), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2009 clear amber, sticky white head, very good lacing. Strong aromatic floral local hops. More sustained in the sip, this is a balanced and tasty IPA with consistent hop character without much of a bitter bite. More floral. Aggy360 (115), Anchorage/ Vista,CA, Alaska, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 18, 2009 A nice clear golden yellow with a white head. Nice floral hop aroma, with sweet malt notes. Taste is about the same. A good body. A nice bitter finish. Good IPA not overwhelming but not bland. Vertical Bacon Strips (889), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Cloudy orange brew filled with a bunch of floating silt that I stirred up from the bottom of my bottle. Poured out an average sized thick tan cap but has excellent retention (1/4" - 3/8" throughout) and incredible lacing that just sticks everywhere on every swirl the entire time. Lots of really fine carbonation too. I found a pile of sediment at the bottom of my glass - not sure if there should be that much, but I don’t care. Nice fresh warm cirtus aroma (more cirtus than grapefruit) with some soft mild malts but there is an odor that seems to be something menthal or dank - more menthal I’d guess...it’s there when warm but stays faint enough to be overwhelmed by the main aromas. Taste is what you would expect - the usual hard bitterness and grapefruit with some other notable citrus fruit and some bready malts. I could’ve gone for more hops. Mouthfeel is quite smooth. Medium bodied. It could use a bit more carbonation, but that might be my fault after possibly swirling this brew to death. Finishes quite soft and then you realize that there’s a s**t load of hops eating away at your mouth that seems to linger for eons. Love that! unclemattie (2402), Georgia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jun 6, 2009 22oz bottle. IBU 60, O.G. 1.062,. Orange pour, rocky head. Has a fresh look to it, as if it were straight from the fermenting tank. Aroma of fresh noble hops. A nice woody hop smell. Some dough as well. Flavor is thin with an overpowering hop bitterness. Lots of hops too early in the boil? BOLD. Not my favorite IPA. Overly watery body, over-dominating bitterness. Cirrhosis (616), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Copper body with slight cloudiness, thick sticky head with lots of stringy lacing, very nice looking beer. Normal citrusy hops for an IPA but a bit milder then most, aroma turns to caramel in the finish, very refreshing smelling beer. Citrusy hops, grape fruit to be more exact, noticeable floral tastes in here to, tons of malty goodness in the brew, I’m loving the maltiness of this IPA and colossal bitter hops. Mouth feel is a touch soft but did have nice tingly carbonation. This brew is a cornucopia of awesomeness stchloe (482), Portland, Oregon, USA
