Dry and floral, with the beautiful aroma of fresh hops and a sublime maltiness from gently roasted barley.

Draft @Pike Pub. Clear copper with very small bubbles, Wispy head has great staying power and leaves lots of sticky lace. Biscuit, hop, and slight tropical fruit aromas. Fruity malt and piney hop flavors. Medium body, smooth, zesty. Long resiny, bittersweet finish. Bitterness is a little harsh. Overall, a solid American IPA.

Dark amber colored liquid with a hazy quality. Fine head. Nose of tangy acrid hops. Taste full and powerful, but not opressive with hops. nice clean if robustly tangy finish.

Bottle... Hazy orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Nose of citrusy, floral, piney hops... the whole ball of wax. The flavor is resiny and piney. Moderately bitter with notes of toffee and grapefruit. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, clover finish. Thanks go out to scraff for sharing.

Dark amber, creamy off white head. Nose held soft notes of juicy grapefruit, earthy pine, sweet toffee brittle, and a slight hint of florals. Very well balanced with the citrusy hops and sweet malty backbone playing off each other nicely. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying, bittersweet finish. Good session IPA. Thanks go out to my neighbors for grabbing this and a few other brews for me on their tour of Seattle....

12 oz bottle. Clear copper color with a small head. Aroma is hops and cloves. Taste is full of citrus fruits that are somewhat acidic. Finishes gently but lacking any real interesting qualities.

Golden-amber colour. Toasty, woody, grapefruity aroma. The palate is strongly woody, with plenty of toasty, whole wheat bready notes to back it up. Citrus is light and lemony, adding a refreshing note to the finish to cut through what is almost too much crystal malt. Well-balanced example.

Flavoursome American-style IPA. Bronze colour, big lasting head. Aroma has plenty of sweet malt and floral hops. Full-bodied and grapefruity, with some spices before the dry, tannic finish. Very grippy. (Bottle) (Bottle)

Thanks to Buck Dich for this. Pours hazy orangish with tons of head. Aroma of hops, citrus, florals, malt. Tastes hoppy, with some grapefruit, floral esters, and hints of black pepper. Smooth palate and a semi-dry grapefruity finish. Very good.

(12 oz bottle: Liquid Solutions in Tigard, OR) I just purchased this bottle from Liquid Solutions, but I suspect the beer isn’t the freshest. There are some definite off flavors lingering in the background of the flavor and aroma, I will attempt to overlook these flaws, and using my notes from 2002, piece together a meaningful review. A retry is in order, but until then, this will have to do. This flavorful and balanced IPA has a moderately strong, hoppy bitterness from the start that shows some assertiveness in the finish, and a lightly sweet maltiness that definitely holds its own early, but eventually gives way to the hops in the bitter finish. Like the flavor, the nose is also fairly well balanced. Light amber in color, and slightly hazy in appearance. The off-white head pours to half an inch and shows solid retention, maintaining a thin layer for the duration of the session, and leaves plenty of ringed lacing on the glass.
