12 oz bottle. Clear copper color with a small head. Aroma is hops and cloves. Taste is full of citrus fruits that are somewhat acidic. Finishes gently but lacking any real interesting qualities.

Draft at Pike Pub & Brewery, Seattle, WA. White head that was mostly lasting, excellent lacing, transparent, no carbonation observed, and a golden hue. Hoppy floral nose and ditto for the flavor with a dry finish. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Nicely done, very quaffable and worth a try!

Dark orange appearance, with a fluffy white head with thick creamy lacing. Fresh, sweet floral aroma with some sprucey back end notes. Citrusy flavor, but not overdone or tongue numbing. Also detect a bit of nectarines. Some nutty maltiness balances it out well. Clean even mouthfeel, not stinging like some IPAs can be. All in all, a most decent IPA.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear orange color. Head was thin, white, and left some good lace behind. Smelled of light flowery hops. At most, there was only mild hop bitterness and the mouht feel was on the thin side. Tasted of flower blossoms and biscuity malt.

Bomber. Amber pour, nice white head. Aroma is full of floral and citrus hops jump out on the nose. Some light caramel notes lead me to believe this will be a well balanced and delicious IPA. Yep, I was right. Clean and crisp. Just the right amount of citrus bitterness and malt backbone. Very smooth. Nice stuff.

My first experience with an IPA. A nice balanced beer - moderate hops flavor without too much bitterness. After tasting more IPAs, I must say that this is a very good one.

My rating below was from Sept. 2004. Either I DID have a bad bottle or my palate has changed. Thoroughly enjoyable beer. Very drinkable. Sweet malty flavour with strong hops. Malty allows the beer to flow nicely through your mouth as your tongue tries to catch the hops floating by. Does seem to have some variation bottle-to-bottle. Not a big fan. Bottle. Did I get an old one? Orangey mid amber. Big head with nice lacing. Very strong spruce aroma. Flavour was gasoline edged spruce. Beer was harsh and bitter best described as a baby Ruination.

Pours with a small off-white head over a gazed orange body. Good lace left by the head. Aroma of tangy, orange, pacific northwest hops, sticky caramel and some grainy malt. Taste is malty with a bitter, lingering finish. Bittered orange taste, and slightly soggy malts. Creamy-ish mouthfeel, light bubbles.
