Bottle poured a lightly hazy golden amber with a small diminishing ivory head. Aromas of earthiness, grapefruit rind, carmel and light pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of earthiness, light pine, some bitter citrus and some carmel notes with a smooth lingering moderately bitter finish.

Tap@Pike. Pretty solid stuff. Some lychee and grapefruit. A blend between English and American style IPA’s. Soft, lightly bitter and generally pretty tasty.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 daknole (5474) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 21, 2009
Bomber. Amber pour, nice white head. Aroma is full of floral and citrus hops jump out on the nose. Some light caramel notes lead me to believe this will be a well balanced and delicious IPA. Yep, I was right. Clean and crisp. Just the right amount of citrus bitterness and malt backbone. Very smooth. Nice stuff.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUN 30, 2003
Light aroma of floral hops, very northwestern feeling with a nice background of malt present, not too overpowered. I got a kind of swampy musk smell to this too. Appearance is a clear watered down amber look with little head and stagnant lacing. Alcohol and bitter malt flavor. Dry mouthfeel, slightly acidic. Not too impressive for an IPA, not fresh tasting.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jerc (5444) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 12, 2010
2010-07-05. Crisp amber body with a small creamy beige head and lace. 3+ Flavour has a pleasant hoppy bitterness throughout. Citrus up front with slowly growing amounts of resiny hops, lingering bitterness. 7+ Modest aroma, lightly fruity, oranges, brief lemon, muted malt. 7+ Smooth average plus palate. Solid straightforward IPA. On tap at Pike Place brewpub, Seattle
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cornfield (5238) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2005
Nicely done, a coppered bodied brew with a heft yellowish head and an aroma of orange blossoms and rose petals. The solid, caramel malt backbone has a bit of a juicy, citric fruit taste topped with some mild floral hop bitterness. This is kind of an easy-going, relaxed IPA, but very tasty and refreshing.

Tap@Brewpub. Herbal, light nutty and malty aroma. Amber colour, beige head, good lace. Malt sweet, bitter, herbs, grassy finish. Medium and soft body. Powerful yet easy going.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 8, 2007
It has easily been ten years since this one has graced one of my glasses. I remember it being available years ago, but now is only available because of the generosity of Andre’. Lightly hazed, golden amber liquid. Moderate, stable light beige colored head. Heavy lace. Grapefruit zest dominates the aromas, with some light fruit, hints of flower and backdrop of bread dough. Solid flavor profile, with lightly earthy and oaky malts. A citric acid bite with a pure lemon extract flavor. A real IPA.
