Pike IPA

Big and Beautiful...Great Hoppy nose with malt obvious. I have had on tap and in bottle. Much better on tap. This is a great IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. Nice aroma, nicely balanced, a lot of hop aromas & lavour w/o going over the top.

gotta say I love this beer. Nice piney hop aroma. Pours a cloudy orange with a foamy head. Sweet, but understated malt presence, earthiness. Lingering, satisfying hop finish. A very flavourful beer. Underrated IMO.

A noticeable but not strong hop aroma. This is pretty good. Starts off relatively light and the hops grow as it goes.

This IPA Pours a nice dark caramel with a small head, but did leave some nice lacing. There are some nice hoppy and a slight malt aromatics. Flavor is Much of the same, Floral,dry, and very well balanced. This is a solid IPA and i would definetly recomend it. Don’t be discouraged by it’s present rating Try it for yourself!!

Smooth, warming, and made my tongue happy. Low carbonation, soft, and extremely well-rounded. Hops are very well-defined and very cleverly expressed. Beautiful, ’multi-leveled’ hop aroma. What a great beer!

This one gets points just for being unique, in addition to its innate quality. Starts off a tad on the malty side, and then shifts to a honey/nectar taste. Then you are walloped by a full-on floral hops brigade! I would go so far as to call the hops rose-like! There is also a bit of Belgian yeast-like funkiness in this beer, which I see as an attribute. Very malty, very flowery, very unique, very good! My palate is reeling.

I had this on tap at the pub and in the bottle I brought home. Damn good both places, but I'm rating the bottle. Sharp pine needle nose, copper orange color with a thin white head. Lots of hop flavor in this one with pine, citrus and peach notes coming through over the sweet malts. Stong bitter finish with a pleasant, lasting hop residue. Very good IPA.
