Fruity, hoppy bitterness greets as you open the bottle. carmel malt, with toffee flavors. Thankfully, hearty malt strength can keep up with the hop sharpness. Nice, well done IPA.

Pours amber with a minimal white head. Not much lacing to mention. Fruity aroma. Earthy, citrus hop characteristics. Pleasant bitter aftertaste. Good brew.

Light color, not much head. Nice sharp flavor flavor, you can really taste the hops as the flavor goes on.

Pretty balanced west coast IPA with strong hop palate balanced with powerful malt backbone. One of the better offerings in Seattle but by no means the best.

I’d have to agree it’s out of balance toward the crisp, sharp hops (they make the sides of my tongue curl up!), but I kind of like that aftera whole bunch of super-hopped and super-sweetly malted left-coast IPAs. Quite a good one. Floral but no wallflower that’s for sure. Brash...definitely not creamy. I think I remember calling Bridgeport’s IPA almost creamy...not this bad boy. Enjoy!

Shared with Pyrozoid. Clear dark orange poor, small beige head. Aromas of pine, orange, hints of pinapple... very hoppy. Dry, velvetty... extremely well hopped... good effervescence, perfect balance. Flavors of orange, pine, caramel. Very impressed.
