Dry and floral, with the beautiful aroma of fresh hops and a sublime maltiness from gently roasted barley.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, light amber color with moderately-sized, very frothy slightly orange head. Lacing is average. Aromas of citrus, caramel, and hints of malts. Very interesting smell for an IPA as it doesnít smell hoppy. Palate is lively with a bitter start and creamy, sticky finish. Tastes of pine dominate although it ends with a very pleasing grapefruit finish. Great IPA, although that smell could be improved!

Where the spirit really shines is its flavor and body. Flavor is very malty , some Toffee, a bit of roast, lots of bitter. Body is just right. Appearance isnít bad with a clear amber copper color and loads of lace.

Tastes of floral and hints of spruce. The appearance is orange red and hazy. The head is minimal. The taste is medium bitter. This beer is medium bodied, with a slick texture and a average carbonation. The finish is long . Overall this beer is pretty average with few distinct characteristics.

Clean, straight forward IPA. Bottle consumption with limited quality notes. I will revisit when I've had a proper glass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at World Beer Museum, Yokohama. Clear amber with large off-white head. Orangey citrus, orange peel aroma with underlying maltiness. Similar in the taste plus lovely hoppy bitterness. Excellent.

Pretty straight forward IPA. Some citrus, lots of hops and a hint of floral. A bit heavy on the bitterness but otherwise just another IPA.

[3/3/15] Draught at Dungeness Bay Seafood House in Seattle-Tacoma airport. Clear reddish amber. Aroma of malt, slightly caramelly, piney and citric hops and a buttery note. Sweetish malt flavor with some caramel, a mild buttery touch, a bit of toast, citric and piney hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A bit buttery but still OK.

Fairly large off-white head. Somewhat dark Amber color. Aroma - hops dominate with pine and citrus aromas. Light malt presence also with bread aromas. Slightly oil and creame textures; a long bitter finish. Average sweetness. Overall a pretty good IPA with good hop flavors, but with a bit of mild bready malt balance.

This does not strike me as a beer that was brewed to a terribly high standard. Itís pretty bland for an IPA to be honest. Itís clear yellow orange color with a head of medium bubbles. It smells of minerals and pine needles. Itís dry and slightly watery w/ medium carbonation. I got this on draft but it somehow seems a little skunky or perhaps the hop variety was just a little bit catty. Finish is fairly bitter but not too harsh. This isnít at all terrible or anything but drinkable is the most superlative compliment I can pay to it.
