From Brewery Creek. Poured a cloudy orange body beneath a smallish ivory head. Aroma was less hopped than it shouldíve been, although the taste was more the way I like an IPA, with the right amount of bitterness. Mouthfeel was okay, although it finished on a bland note.

[3/3/15] Draught at Dungeness Bay Seafood House in Seattle-Tacoma airport. Clear reddish amber. Aroma of malt, slightly caramelly, piney and citric hops and a buttery note. Sweetish malt flavor with some caramel, a mild buttery touch, a bit of toast, citric and piney hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A bit buttery but still OK.

Fairly large off-white head. Somewhat dark Amber color. Aroma - hops dominate with pine and citrus aromas. Light malt presence also with bread aromas. Slightly oil and creame textures; a long bitter finish. Average sweetness. Overall a pretty good IPA with good hop flavors, but with a bit of mild bready malt balance.

This does not strike me as a beer that was brewed to a terribly high standard. Itís pretty bland for an IPA to be honest. Itís clear yellow orange color with a head of medium bubbles. It smells of minerals and pine needles. Itís dry and slightly watery w/ medium carbonation. I got this on draft but it somehow seems a little skunky or perhaps the hop variety was just a little bit catty. Finish is fairly bitter but not too harsh. This isnít at all terrible or anything but drinkable is the most superlative compliment I can pay to it.

Bottle. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Toffee sweet malts, light floral and earthy hops, and light bitterness. Blech.

Draft sampler, golden Amber little head, good lacing. Aroma malt, spruce and fruit. Taste spruce and lychee, some pineapple, hops bitter finish. Palate smooth, carbonation good.

Aside: I was presented with my original bottle of this nearly 20 years back by Mr. Belmont. I didnít drink craft beer at the time and left it on my office shelf as a momento. Poor decision. Good label and logo on the bomber. Hazy, maplewood or caramel colored brew. Aroma is malt forward, a little honeyish, a little vanilla and toffee up front with a sprucey hoppiness and slightly toasted tones following. Pleasant. Drier than it smells, vanilla tones on the lips, some slight tin, almost-juniper tones towards the back. A little wood, a little toast, enough hops to keep you interested, but not enough to put you in the hospital. Medium heavy mouthfeel. Woody, dry toffee finish. Enjoyable. Habershamís Beverage Warehouse, Abercorn, Savannah. On fire sale - $2/bomber, what a deal!

Nice head on this pour on tap in Seattle. Amber red. Not much for a nose. This beer is more on the maltier side. Well balanced.

a nice IPA and one of their better brews. citrusy and floral hop aroma and taste, but not overdone...not that iíd mind that...but this one is balanced nicely. not enough there to be a phenomenal beer, but a solid IPA by any standard."

Sampler at the brewpub. Dark golden color, clear. More hop assertive than the other beers in the regular lineup. However, its too grassy for me. Bitter and grass flavor. Clean malt character, just wish hops were different, not my thang for the hops.
