A good, classic tasting Belgian. A little bit like Anderson Valley's Brother David. Pours a nice orange with a thick white head. Not much smell, a little herbs and wheat. Taste is classic, berries and malty, with some booziness. Full bodied. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber pour..medium gold color..aroma of clove..spices..and sweetness..decent head retention..medium body..nose is much more complex than the taste which has quite low intensity and depth..not much character..has an odd cidery off taste with some spiciness on finish..not a very memorable offering of a tripel..on the positive the price pt is good and the abv is relatively well masked..

22oz Bottle. The pour was a murky medium orange with a small (less than 1 finger) white frothy head that reduced down to a thin puddled film, and had excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was quite mild of a light grain malt and a doughy yeast with notes of banana, bubblegum, citrus (orange) and a hint of coriander. The taste was moderately sweet and decently malty with a strong candi sugar presence early on, and then became a tad yeasty with hints of banana, orange zest and a fruity yet spicy finish. The flavor stuck around for an average time proceeding the swallow, with the mildly spicy fruitiness fading steadily off the palate. Mouthfeel was just a hair past light in body with a thin creamy texture and a nice soft carbonation. Overall this was a tasty but very sweet Tripel, which had a good fruit presence and a light hint of spice. Although it was nothing overly special it did have a good drinkability... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

Pours hazy gold with a lasting, creamy head. The aroma is of tangerine, vanilla, spices, and fruit esters. The taste is dominated by light malt and candi sugars up front, followed by citrus-herbal hop notes in the finish. The finish is medium-long, with a medium-full body and medium carbonation. The beer is fairly dry and crisp, as it should be. It also hides the ABV well.

Gyllengul, lätt beslöjad öl med lätt vitt skum. Doft av jäst, hö och viss alkoholsötma. Jäst, lätt kryddighet och lätt citrus. En helt OK version av en belgisk trippel.

Gold with a white head. Nose is sweet, smells like someone dumped a handful of coriander in it. Easy on the palate, dried fruits, big yeast notes, and more spice.

In short: A boring sugar spicy strong Belgian blond ale.
How: Bottle 22oz. Not sure the age, I don’t even remember buying this, probably many months old.
The look: Partly cloudy blond body topped by a medium white head.
In long: Nose is phenolic, banana peels, plastic, Neo Citran™. Taste is sugary crisp cereals, dried bananas, some plastic, sweet orange peels, excessive candi sugar presence, white pepper, a bit of coriander, timid leafy-tobacco hops. Medium body and medium carbonation. The intrinsic spiciness of the beer helps drinkability. Not a bad beer despite the chemical/plastic aroma-flavor, mainly because it is not even tasty enough to be bad, this is just a very very very boring beer. Nothing good here but I drank the full bomber anyway, there’s no point in cutting down on my drinking and getting in shape, I mean, I now have exactly the same number of Tour de France wins as Lance Armstrong.
