Mostly clear golden orange, frothy white head settles and lasts. Fruity sweet corny grainy malty aroma and flavor. Fresh and tasty, some honey, citrus and floral notes. Softly carbed, light-medium body, low hopped. Finishes dry and lightly bitter. Very sessionable. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 alcaponejunior (349) - Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Average looking, kinda tan and mostly clear with rising bubbles and not a lot of head or lace.
Aroma is typically blonde ale, a little sweet corn and some straw/grassy notes with a light maltiness. Flavor follows suit. Body is light and quite easy to drink, refreshing and just a little slick on the back end.
Overall it’s enjoyable, perhaps not my personal favorite from Pike, but still tasty.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 braznadian (59) - Washington, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Had this at Uncle Uli’s in Leavenworth. Crystal clear straw color with a nice white head. Floral and sweet notes in the aroma. Very smooth and malty flavor. Very drinkable. Light malty sweetness with mild bitterness and a dry finish. I’m not a huge blonde ale fan but I think this one represents this style well, and is another good beer from this brewery.

Tastes of citrus, mlats, light caramelised sugars, touch of straw.
Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation leasing to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a moderate frothy white head. Maltier than I expected in the nose - some slight toasted notes in there. VERY light on the palate, and would make a great beer on a summer day. Easy drink.
