jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA May 10, 2007 Bottle, hmm a strange sweet taste seemed to dominate. Its fairly easy to drink except for the very perfumy taste in my mouth. it was not bad, but I would prefer a bigger hop profile in my APA’s while the malts were decent I can’t get over the lingering candy taste in my mouth. Hoss (602), Florida, USA Apr 10, 2007 I like an American pale Ale and this was a good example of one. This would be a good session brew for me. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Apr 1, 2007 12 oz. brown bottle. Pours light amber/orange colour. Sticky and clingy white head. Aroma is toasty and caramel malts, light hops. Flavour has toasted malts, some nut, late grapefruit bitterness. Good sessionable APA. TipsyMcStager (900), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Mar 14, 2007 An enjoyable pale. Citus hop aroma, rhubarb. Pours a cloudy orange, nice head. Earthy malts, pleasant hop finish. presario (2953), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Mar 8, 2007 You think you’ve rated it and you keep passing it by untli you look at another rater and see that the beer is unrated. So you buy it. Clear copper. Thick head. Moderate but intriguing hop aroma. Flavour is woody, nutty oily with a buttery hop. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada Mar 6, 2007 Dry with a woody sour, finish and even know I can buy this in Alberta I don’t. Golden-copper colour. Nice aroma, good balance of toasty malt and fruity hops. Medium body. Flavour is fresh and well-balanced. Simple, but nice, especially fresh at the pub - in bottles, I expect it might be disappointing. DuffMan (2721), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Jan 27, 2007 Orange amber with an ecru cap and a modest amount of lacing. Very fuity and resinous aroma, with the toasty malt coming forward as my nose adjusts and the beer warms. A little light in the body, but not in a bad way. A bittersweet finish that feels just right. A solid representation of the style.
