(12 oz bottle: Liquid Solutions in Tigard, OR) As pale ales go, this is about average. It’s pleasant and tasty and easy to drink. The flavor is malty, lightly toasty and moderately sweet with a mild bitterness in the finish for some balance. Malty and sweet nose shows only a mild amout of hops. Amber in color with a smallish off-white head that eventually fades away to about nothing. Only a few hints of lace.

Copper with thin head, aroma of fruit amd toffee, malty hazelnut-cookie flavors with crisp hops and some citrus in perfect balance to the malt, a delightful evem beer at a good price.

Strange Belgian yeast was used in these Pike Brews, makes for a kind of fruity floral Pal Ale with a interesting malt balance.

Apple spice, hoppy aroma, unique and exciting. Transparent copper body with a white head. Fruity malt start to the taste, with a sweetness that carries through over the mild hop bitterness that balances out the taste.

This beer was very nice. I probably rate it higher than most because I am partial to the nutty malt flavor of this beer. It had a nice thick mouthfeel, and a smooth, sweet, nutty taste. The finish wasn’t too strong.. nice and gentle.. matched the flavor of the beer quite well. Tastes similar to the Rogue Hazelnut beer, but not quite as good. But, its cheaper, so its a good compromise!

A nice brew with a well-balanced flavor. A fairly unique malt flavor - a nice ale.

Bright amber hue. Malts were bready and sweet (toffee and some caramel). Hops were earthy and perfumey. Some curious musk aromas. Overall, not bad, but not necessarily the flavors I seek out in a pale.
