It’s pleasant and tasty and easy to drink. The flavor is malty, lightly toasty and moderately sweet with a mild bitterness in the finish for some balance. Malty and sweet nose shows only a mild amout of hops. Amber in color with a smallish off-white head that eventually fades away to about nothing. Only a few hints of lace. eve (240), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Fruity malt start to the taste, with a sweetness that carries through over the mild hop bitterness that balances out the taste. slimweebs (139), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

I probably rate it higher than most because I am partial to the nutty malt flavor of this beer. It had a nice thick mouthfeel, and a smooth, sweet, nutty taste. The finish wasn’t too strong.. nice and gentle.. matched the flavor of the beer quite well. Tastes similar to the Rogue Hazelnut beer, but not quite as good. But, its cheaper, so its a good compromise! shrubber85 (2886), Wallhalben, Germany

Hops were earthy and perfumey. Some curious musk aromas. Overall, not bad, but not necessarily the flavors I seek out in a pale.
