markas101 (541), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Sep 29, 2008 33 cl bottle, Seattle, WA. Nice sipping beer, however no alpha king. Well worth a try. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 20, 2008 Smells of toffee and malt. This amber brown pour is rich in flavor with a small but noticeable amount of nut flavor. Smooth, sweet finish. darn1207 (528), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 15, 2008 12oz bottle. good looking hazy amber-orange color with a thin off-white head. malt and nut aroma. taste is thin and sorta boring. some light caramel... tingly carbonation. not much of anything on the finish. just boring. Nik925 (300), California, USA Sep 2, 2008 Great head that fades fast. Has a really lame hop flavor. A conservative ale even for a pale, there isn’t enough in this one for me. Made in the "Coors Light" style. kempicus (350), Wellington, New Zealand Aug 15, 2008 Tried thanks to Poperinge. Opened the bottle and it’s a gusher....bad start. 355ml fills 2 pint glasses....nose is all fruity yeast, need i say a HUGE white head.....cloudy orange colour very astringent, dry finish, unfortunately an infected bomb. italianjohn (337), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 11, 2008 Had a draft at the Pike Brewery a nice copper color had a nice smooth taste not a whole lot of bitterness going down with some fruit notes just enough was not overpowering a simple ale really i heard the kilt lifter was the brew to get from this place patricks110 (275), Alberta, Canada Aug 8, 2008 Bottle from bottlescrew Bills Calgary, AB. Pours a brown orangey colour with a medium sized frothy head. Malty and nutty hops aroma is laced with slight skunkyness and grass. Taste is hoppy and aftertaste of nutty hops. Overall, a great pale ale. An interesting beer that i hope to try again. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA Jul 27, 2008 Bottle: Reddish brown colored pour with medium sized head. Malty, hoppy aroma with a slightly sweet, bitter hoppy finish. Not bad.
