Thought this was the worst of pike’s beers. Pours copper clear color with minimal head. Aroma earthy hops, but minimal. Flavor watery plain with slight earth hops. Very weak.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a white head. Has a malty earthy hoppy aroma. Malty and slightly swetish fruity hoppy flavor. Fruity malty hoppy finish.

I think i may have enjoyed this more then the IPA- Pours a dark copper colour with a full white head. Aroma is hoppy, floral with soft citrus fruit. hops are well integrated and smooth. finishes a bit dry with a hint of straweberries.

Amber body with small head. Aroma is some citrus hops and bready malts, rather light. Some caramel malts upfront and some dry bittering hops throughout. Nothing great but very decent.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear dark amber color with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily. Patchy lacing. The aroma is hoppy with an underlying sweet malt. Medium-bodied with hops, caramel malt and citrus flavors. The finish is moderately hoppy with notes of citrus and pale malt in the aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap from Pike Place Brewery on Pike Street in Seattle, WA. This is one delicious "American Pale Ale" which usually brings what the description lists as "an assertive hop character’ to bear along with great floral aroma and attractive copper color. This is an impressive beer and should be enjoyed by anyone who happens upon downtown Seattle area.

Nice floral hoppy aroma. Pours dark amber with a small head, good amount of lacing. Flavor is crisp, hoppy, nice bite to it with a fair balance for an APA. One of the best I’ve had of this type. Would love to try it on tap sometime. Will be drinking this again. Well recommended for APA fans.
