Medium-to full-bodied with a deep copper color and nutty malt flavor. Well-balanced by an assertive hop character.

Tap@Pike. A fairly easy going pale ale. Aromatic hops of course. Some toast and toffee, with a lemony finish, a bit more English than American? Pretty spot on as far as pale ales go, just not overly interesting.

Amber pour. Pale ale? Bullshit. Ice tea ale is more like it. WTF??? This is bordering on false advertisement.

NABA BeerFest 03: A very nice pale ale, better than most at the fest. This was my final beer at the fest, so memory kinda blurry and notepad is just full of scribbles at that point. I believe it was very good with a nice amount of hops and full body to back it up, could almost be an ipa, but not quite.

2010-07-0. Crisp amber body with a nice off white head and lace. Flavour has a mild bitterness throughout, mild fruit and citrus character over muted malt, occasional grainy touches. 6+ Mild aroma, lightly fruit, muted malt. 6+ Average palate. Okay. On tap at Pike Place brewpub, Seattle

Tap@Brewpub. Almost no aroma, light fruity. Amber colour, off-white head, good lace. Sweetish, light bitter, perfume, notes of herbs, light malty. Medium body with a dry finish. Flavourful and easy going.

Sampled on 3/2/2009. This American Pale Ale pours a medium amber brown color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet, touch of orange. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, caramel and orange. The hops are citrusy and floral. A little on the sweet side, but there are enough hops to balance it out. Nice carbonation. Somewhat more in the English style Pale Ale. Kind of like this one, would make a good session beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean with just a touch of a hop bite. The aftertaste is slightly bitter.
