4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ronaldtheriot (811) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - APR 2, 2013
Pike Pale Ale has a medium, off-white head, decent lacing left behind, and a bubbly, clear, orange-golden appearance. The aroma is of sweetness, bread, and bread crust. Taste is of the same, with an iced tea note coming through. Bitterness is not high, and the mouthfeel is mostly watery. Pike Pale Ale finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and enjoyable. Overall, this is a really nice one. Another winner from Pike Brewing. RJT
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 airrick2003 (182) - Louisiana, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Appearance: deep amber color, almost to the point of brown but not quite, thick off white head, head sticks around and laces very well
Aroma: malty, sweet, plum,
Taste: malty, some sweetness, slight hoppyness towards the end, plum
Palate: thick on the tongue, low c02 burn, leaves the mouth wet, minimal hoppy aftertaste
Overall: tastes like a abbey beer almost, not what I was expecting from a pale ale, a good beer tho

Mid amber with a thin forthy off white head that retains well.
Nose comprises caramel malts, hops, touch of pine.
Tastes of caramel, light citrus, sugars, malts.
Medium bodied bodied with soft spritzy carbonation leading to a bitter finish.
Pretty average - alittle too sugary and sweet.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 AWISLguy (694) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 14, 2012

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a fairly small white head. A little bit of hoppiness to the nose, but it’s dominated by some slightly sweet maltiness. Taste is also slightly sweet, which I found odd for a pale ale.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KajII (711) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - OCT 15, 2012
22oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy caramel brown with a small (1 finger or less) light brown frothy head that diminished down to a thin cap with good spotty lacing.
The aroma was of a sweet light bread malt, floral hops and a light soapy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (orange) and a light fruity ester.
The taste was a malty bitter-sweet and had a touch of caramel throughout, with a light fruity hoppiness and a smidgen of citrus at the end. The flavor lasted an average time with a slightly fruity citrus peel bitterness left behind.
Mouthfeel was just beyond light in body and dry in texture with a medium carbonation.
Overall a pretty decent Pale Ale with a slight fruity appeal and a mildly bitter hoppiness...
