22oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy caramel brown with a small (1 finger or less) light brown frothy head that diminished down to a thin cap with good spotty lacing. The aroma was of a sweet light bread malt, floral hops and a light soapy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (orange) and a light fruity ester. The taste was a malty bitter-sweet and had a touch of caramel throughout, with a light fruity hoppiness and a smidgen of citrus at the end. The flavor lasted an average time with a slightly fruity citrus peel bitterness left behind. Mouthfeel was just beyond light in body and dry in texture with a medium carbonation. Overall a pretty decent Pale Ale with a slight fruity appeal and a mildly bitter hoppiness...

Orange honey color. Decent pale ale, malty rye, honey, mellow hoppiness. Drinkable though slightly watery. Probably cooler to drink it at Pike’s fish market is Seattle because it’s nothing special.

A little bit of nuttiness and citrus in the aroma and some bitterness in the flavor but overall this brew was rather bland.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 01.09.14. A: See through rust color. No head. Some opaqueness at top. S: Sweet malt. Caramel. Picking up black olive too. T: Caramel, burnt toast, black olive. M: Crisp. O: The black olive flavor prompted a drain pour. Almost every beer that I’ve had from Pike has ended the same way and they’re local to me. Maybe they have QC issues.
