Bomber. Appearance is a hazy golden orange color with a half-inch of off-white foam. Mostly lemon, yeast, honey and herbal hops notes in the aroma. The taste is citrus rind, pine resin and Belgian yeast upfront along with some pepper, toasted grain and tropical fruit at the end. Plenty of carbonation in the body in addition to a dry, tart finish. Overall, an enjoyable regional take on the style.

Clear amber pour some head. Smells of funk, apples, pond water. Tastes of rye bread and then full hop flavor. Light carb. peachy bitter hops. aftertaste of dust and bretta. Watery palate. Very un-saison in quite a few ways. not nearly enough yeast flavors. good gateway into saisons for the ipa lover.

Total Wine, Fairfax 650ml: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is hoppy and bitter like an IPA. There is barely any saison funk in here, well maybe a little farmhouseness, but not much. Lots of fruit, some sweetness, and a bit of dryness. If there is any saison in here it is in the aftertaste and finish.

Hazy orange, some head/lace/retention. Aroma is yeast, spice, citrus, light pepper. Medium to light bodied, lightly sweet. Much better than I was expecting.

22 oz bottle at home. Pours clear orange with a large, frothy and foamy white head, medium-short retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is tropical fruits, coconut, pine and resin hops, papaya and mango, pepper, Pils and cracker malt. Flavor is fruity esters, heavy hops and moderate bitterness, supporting crisp malt and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate to heavy carbonation.

Bomber courtesy of BeerandBlues2 (thanks Brad!) poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, grapefruit, light lemon zest and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, grapefruit, lemon zest, light spice and a hint of pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Bottle thanks to scotchzi! Pours a hazy golden orange with thin bubbly white head and light lacing. Aroma of funky Belgian yeast and a hint of citrus. Taste is more balanced between those notes with a nice bitter finish. Pretty nice.

Rich, warm red-orange color with rocky lace cover. Fuzzy citrus nose, grapefruit, perhaps some simcoe and cattiness and spicy pellet hop resin. Juicy citrus body with bursts of grapefruit and a spicy, grassy and forest hoppyness. To me, this seems more a part of the APA/IPA family than a saison, or rather an APA with a slight twist.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with with medium white head. Aroma is a bit funky, but not in a bad way, with apple, champagne, and straw. Flavor is a little sour, but with a bit of bitterness too. Not bad, but not great.

Sampled at the brewpub in Seattle. pours golden color with a white head. Aromas of wheat, lemon, spice and yest. Very refreshing, good for a hot day.
