22oz bottle. Poured a hazy copper clor with a small white head. Aroma was a very pleasant floral hop character with a nice sweet malt note to it. Flavor was very enjoyable, very tasty citrus hops, very crisp and enjoyable. Impressed.

(22oz bottle thanks to Mora2000) cloudy orange, creamy offwhite bubbles. Nose of simcoe hops, candied orange, citrusy and no bitterness. Taste is pretty bitter, agave, grapefruit peel, syrupy sweet and thick body. Sticky and not my favorite, oily.

Received 22-oz bottle via trade with 5000. Pours a hazy copper orange colored brew with a decent sized beige head that has some nice retention and lacing. Aroma of West Coast 3 C’s hops, some light tropical fruit and plenty of caramel and light chocolate malt. Taste is almost full bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of mostly West Coast citrusy hops, tropical fruit and a full bodied caramel malt background. Finish is semi-sweet with a lingering citrus/grapefruit and tropical hop aftertaste that slowly disappears.

GuilTTy (728) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Bomber from Total Wine & More in Cherry Hill. Hazy copper pour with orange highlights settling under a tall dusky white head. Aroma of spruce and tangerines. Not as much citrus in the flavor. Lots of earthy, grassy hops. Astringently bitter but not altogether unpleasant. Some semisweet chocolate and toffee. Middle of the road mouthfeel and a very dry finish. Overall a nice, classic Pacific NW IPA.

This beer is the embodiment of ’bitter beer’. Lots of bitterness all around in the flavor and the finish. Grassy and piney. Some melon and tea notes as well, but for the most part, just bitter, bitter hops. I found it completely unbalanced, and not all that enjoyable, despite the fact that I normally like hoppy ass beers. Oh well.

22oz bottle. Hazy yellow orange with a small off white head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, pine and light malt. Flavor is fairly bitter with a clean malt profile and well hidden alcohol. Medium body with average carbonation. This is a really nice IPA, lots of hop flavor and aroma and just some light malt sweetness.
