Exceeded my expecatations. This was an assertive, well balanced IPA. Pours light orange with good head. Hoppy, bitter nose. Piney and refreshing with a light body and clean finish. Good IPA.

22 oz bottle. Pours golden orange with a finger of compact white foam and some nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, tangerine, mango, passionfruit, some pine. Definitely hop centric. Also yeast and the slightest bit of grass. Taste is grapefruit, tangerine, a bit of tropical fruit, some crackery malt, pine, and a big kick of oily resinous hops. Medium-high bitterness. Medium body, nice foamy carbonation, mouth coating bitterness. Slightly sweet and very fruity, with an oily-dry finish. Excellent.

Solid IPA. High bitterness. Not a sprightly mouthfeel, but has substance to it. Good zing. Hop notes lean more towards resin. Recommended.

On tap at the brewpub. Milky burnt orange pour with a white head. Pine and resin hop aromas. Taste follows suit. A bit one dimensional with mineral lowlights. A bit unbalanced. Average body and mouthfeel.

Unclear dark orangey amber. Big frothy creamy white lasting head. Aroma towards fruity and sweet, a little spicy. Bigger light body. Flavor is grapefruit orange floral grass pine biscuit. Nice moderate grassy, pine and grapefruit bitterness which lingers. Hop forward with just enough malt to balance. Really comes together nicely. Good stuff.

Tonightís live beer review. Obviously, its an AIPA, guess what glass. Good guess - yes a pint glass. The appearance was a nice golden amber color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace leaving a decent amount of lacing sticking to the glass. The smell was a nice balance of bitter piney hops to some malts. The taste was slightly bitter but also slightly sweet - it tried to combine, but honestly it didnít for the most part. There was a slight bitter aftertaste but there wasnít any finish. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable aspect to it. The carbonation actually finished a bit smoother than most AIPAís Iíve had, but honestly, I didnít mind that so much. Overall, I say this was a good AIPA for the most part. Iím glad I had it and would certainly pick it up again most likely for pizza night.

Slightly hazy golden under a sticky and lasting foamy white head. Nose is lightly piney with an earthy lightly woody note and just a little dank-ness. Flavor is balanced and pale malty with some piney resins and a touch of leafy floral hops. Some light gold cereal grains a and a bitter-boozy ester round out the finish.
