Brewed with gambrinus pale, warminster maris otter, wheat, crystal 80 and roasted barley. Bittered with northern brewer and mt hood. Dry spiced with roasted pumpkin seeds, pumpkin zest, coriander, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Starting gravity 17.5 Plato (1.072).

Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours dark brown with a khaki head. Nose is earthy with notes of spice and pumpkin. Flavor is earthy and somewhat nutty with some sweet and herbal/ vegetal notes. Finish is hops with some roasted nuts and a hint of sweet in the background. Medium bodied, unique and nice.

Muddy brown beer with a thin head. Strong cinnamon on the nose. Some light roast, nutmeg perhaps. A touch spicy in a Belgian sort of way too. The flavors are roasted up front with some earthy hop bitterness followed by lots of spice and light sweetness. Spices and hops linger on the palate. Interesting effort.

Draft at Elysian Great Pumpkin Beer Fest (GPBF) 08. Murky dark brown with garnet highlights. Dense tan rim. Fruity, spicy nose. Medium body. WAAAAAAY too much spice. Long, gritty finish.
