Bottle wife got me for Christmas. Some smoke, some roast, Sweet fruits for aroma complexing. Dark brown brew held to light a deep red. Decent head with halo retention. Flavor is as odd as the aroma. A sweet fruit plum, raisin is there, a roasty flavor as well. This for me is one of those complex brews to write about but it was good.

Bottle. Dark brownish-copper body with a creamy white head. The aroma is fruity along with sugar, caramel, and raisins. Alcohol is prominent throughout with sugary raisin and roasty burnt malt flavours.
Tasted in December 2007.

Bomber. I do not know why, but I thought this was a pale ale when I purchased it. I was surprised when I poured the dark brown liquid into my glass. The aroma and flavor was light roasted malt, toffee and with a slight smokiness. I was expecting more of a thicker mouthfeel, but still decent. ABV is undetectable. I am enjoying this nice brew on a cold Christmas eve.

Tap at Brouwers. Pours dark brown. Aroma is sweet and malty with a little bit of sour too. Very malty flavor with light roast, dark fruit, and lots of sweetness. Not my favorite.

Bottle. Ratebeer Christmas in Oshawa, December 2007. Brown body with a small fast fading tan head. Tangy aroma of malt, caramel, light fruit. Rough grainy sweet malt flavour, very light muddled fruit and something a bit odd. Average to thin palate. Mediocre. 5/3/4-5/2-3/10

22oz Bomber - Pike Brewery - Seattle, WA
Aroma – Extra malty aroma with light smokiness.
Appearance – Brown in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor – A deep malty flavor with some smokiness this was a truly strong ale. Good flavors with some strong alcohol and deep malt flavors.
Palate – Dry finish with some malty and yeasty aftertaste this was a thick beer.
Overall – A great Strong ale beer with some good malts a mild amount of hops this beer was easy to drink and would go down for anyone. Be careful this can and will sneak up on you.
