Draft at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy light brown-orange color. Head was thin and off white. Smelled of light toffee. Dry on the tongue. Tasted of fleshy fruits, toasted bread, and toffee.

A nice filling beer, with a hefty kick. Lots of complexity in the taste, with chocolate and tobacco in the background.

Draft at brewpub. Pours a deep copper with a dissipating beige head. Aroma of sweet malt and fruity ale esters. Medium bodied with a slightly thin texture. Initial flavor of brown sugar and caramel that is countered by some moderate bitterness. There is some subtle nuttiness and tobacco mid-palate. Finish is a bit prickly and short.

Bottle... Hazy “Longhorn Orange” ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Fruity, nutty aroma of overripe avocado, toasted cashews and unidentified berries. Well-balanced flavor barely leans toward the bitter side with a caramel foundation and a plethora of earthy hops. Medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. Lightly bitter finish with a rumor of salt. Thanks go out to boboski for sharing the bottle!

Bottle. Slight cloudy head. Smells of alcohol, spruce and malt. Rich amber color. Heavily sour with hints of vinegar on the palate. Fizzy with long finish and bitter aftertaste.Very distinct.

No head forms, even though the pour was rather aggressive. Instead clusters of large, light beige bubbles gather at the edges. The body is a very deep amber/muddy brown, actually quite pretty. Warmth presents opportunities to swirl and generate a somewhat lasting head. The aroma is hoppy, with brown sugar and molasses, loads of sweet cherries and other assorted berries and soft-skinned fruits such as nectarine(delightful). Light licorice and floral ethanol notes round out the nose. Flavors of very sweet caramel and vegetation, molasses and earthy hops ring in the flavor. Additions of smoke are a nice counterpoint to the molasses and brown sugar. Light toast and nuts surround the maltiness. Finishes sweet and toasty. Very interesting flavor and a great end result. The mouthfeel is medium to medium-full bodied, very lightly and softly carbonated, creamy and smooth.

Medium malty aroma. Something like caramel. Ruby toned, dark brown color with a beige head that was respectable. Thin to medium bodied. Near creamy carbonation. Something of plum pit and brown sugar. A bit tangy. Nearly astringent finish. Not a great deal of hop. A suggestion of that sour note found in most Siletz presentations. Mouth tends to pucker a bit. Pretty drinkable.
