Poured brown in color with a small, dense, light brown head that diminished but lasted as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small particles throughout. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of light coriander, light hops, slight molasses, slight brown sugar, light malts, and a hint of tobacco. Medium body. Creamy, then dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Slight coriander, malt, brown sugar, and light tobacco finish is dry. curly (580), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 2, 2009 Dark brown-amber, thin beige head. Aroma is sweet citrus and pine and smell a bit thin. Not as thin as expected, but somewhat soda-like. Med body, high carbonation. Pretty sweet but does have some hop bite. Too many flavors that don’t combine well in this case. Sticky finish. Pours a clearish red with ring of light tan head. Nose is sweet caramel, with hints of alcohol. Flavor is brown sugar, and a spiciness, like that from cherry cough syrup. Smallest hint of anise on the tail. Pretty enjoyable. ScottyP (314), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Bottle: Chestnut brown pour with a finger of creamy beige head. Nose is somewhat lagerish into a grassey floral thing... A bit vegetal. Tastes lightly floral with a deep maltinesss and some nuts. Even a bit of cloves. Rather dry and lingering in floral bitters and spices. Different, I just couldn’t get into this at all.
