| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2009 Tap@Brewpub. Strong aroma of lime, orange and some spices. Brown colour, beige head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, spices, malty, hint of orange. Sticky mouth feel. Flavourful, too much spices for me. Beerme (20), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 4, 2009 Bottle poured pitch black with a mocha head. Malty at first and then flavor dissapeared quickly and completely. I heard they are using Belgian yeasts but couldn’t taste it. I was left unsatisfied which is unusual for Pike beers. alexanderj (2244), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2009 On tap at Pike in Seattle. Color was a dark and deep reddish brown. Aroma was a bit lighter than I expected; some cocoa, nuts, and sugar. Flavor was more sweet; fruity, yeasty, with some brown malt elements. Not much hopping here. Solid beer. jimmay (203), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
