Dec 29, 2008 22 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with an amber glare and minimal white head. Smooth caramel malty note with a mild spice note. Sweet malty and solid hoppy flavoured with a distinct bitter flavour with a nice hoppy touch. Bitter and mild hoppy fruity finish.

Sep 11, 2006 Dark amber colour. Hazy. Fairly chocolatey, lightly toasty aroma. Full flavour with rich toast and chocolate in the complex malty body. Slight bitterness underpins it perfectly. Big body. Unique, very flavourful, a pint to come back to more than once.

Oct 19, 2008 Brown color, thin creamy head. It has caramel and hop aroma, quite perfumy, a bit fruity. The mouthfeel is quite round, but the body not too strong, with a good caramel flavor, turning into chocolate, and an average bitterness, but the hop quality are not impressive. Also the final is not very long, yet quite balanced with the caramel; at 25 IBU, difficult to expect more. Quite solid, no thrills.
