Beer pours a dark chocolate cloudy brown, good sized tan colored with excellent retention and curtains of sticky lacing where left behind with every sip, dam fine looking beer. Aroma was a touch mild for my liking but it was still very pleasant, sweet rich malts that seemed to be a little on the chalky side combined with just a touch of hops. I can’t get over this taste it is truly awesome tons of sweet rich dark malts with a hint of spice and earth, chocolate and coffee are being found in the finish but they are in the back ground of the flavor. The tasty malts dominate this brew so very good and tasty I want more. Why oh why does this only come in these small 650ml bottles I need more. This was so good highly recommend I will be picking a few more of theses up. Review done while watching Grizzly Man ( what a fawking tool, I like what he was trying to do and accomplish, but come on those things aren’t pets it was only a matter of time before you where killed) good movie.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Pours a dark burnt oaky brown color. Toffee and floral hops on the nose, but it was pretty light, although it could be my cold. Very full flavor with a good dose of roasty sweet malt and and light floral hoppiness. Actually better than I anticipated.

Mahogany with a one finger light tan head. Good amount of lacings. Aroma is caramel and bready. Taste is caramel malt with a nice earthy bitter hop flavor. Mouthfeel is fine with medium carbonation. A bit of spice in the finish. Overall a decent brown with plenty of punch. A little on the sweet side for multiple beers.

Bomber. Hazy dark brown with small head. A sickly, stale, old hop nose I’m really beginning to hate. Taste of hops, pepper, spices, some malts. A bit alcoholic. Body is watery. What is this? A brown ale, a low grade double IPA. For me-a drain pour.

65 cl bottle, Seattle, WA. Deep amber colour, translucent, pronounced malt and some spicy hop aroma. Smooth first sip, as someone else mentioned more of a brown ale than dubbel, but nonetheless pretty good. Strength of the alcohol doesn’t overpower, adds to the depth of the brew.

Bomber. Not a bad deep brown pour with mininmal head. Quite malty and landing on the fruity, cardboard side with a caramel vanilla toasted touch. Not much in the way of hoppyness but it is felt physically on the palate. Decent, but I was hoping for a little more from this one.

Appearance: Coco-Cola brown with a topping of sparkly bubbles. Aroma: Clove, bubble gum and spice. Lots of Belgian yeast. Taste: Spice and cloves, hops and dark fruit. Mouthfeel: Thinner than you would think. Overall: A tasty, intriguing hoppy version of a classic dubbel.
