COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Medium hopped with malt and wheat character, a smooth fruity balance and soft creamy head. Mild fruity esters and a soft wheat flavor are the major characteristics of this beer. It is light and crisp with just enough hops to balance and round out the sweetness of the malt and wheat.

Clear and yellow, watch out. Aroma was citrusy and lemony. Body was minimal and flavour was citrus and thin with little malts. Not great.

Sample at the brewpub. Served with a lemon. This beer is a clear dark yellow color color with a medium and fluffy white head that recedes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat and citrus, plus some mild yeast. Medium, clean body with flavors of citrus, wheat and malt along with a touch of yeast. The finish is short and fruity with a touch of wheat in the aftertaste. Just average overall.

[1093-20080216] Tap @ Pike brewpub (Seattle, WA). Yeasty bread aroma with a hint of sweet spice. Clear, orange light red body with a quick foamy white head. More yeasty bread in the flavour with a bit of sweet alcohol. Light medium body. Nice, uneventful.

Draught at Pike. Pours a dark gold color. Does not look unfiltered. Thin head. Aroma of wheat malt and cereal. The flavor is much of the same. Pretty bland and light. A decent crisp finish is probably the highlight of this one.

Draught sample. Has more of an American wheat profile. Good wheaty aroma with bit of yeasty tang and mild citrus. Hazy amber with thin lacing head. Medium-light body with heavy carbonation. Starts with tangy wheat, mild citrus notes and dusty grain. Decent. Light hoppy finish, kind of dry, with dry acidic after.

Draught sampler at the brewpub. Slightly hazy light gold. Light body. Mild spice and yeast in the nose and flavour. Very mellow, needs more... something. Just lacks character, I guess.

On tap at Pike Pub, Seattle. Filtered wheat beer. Gold/orange with beige head. Cereal/lemon aroma. Dull weisse, bit bland, syrupy in mouth. Where’s the lemon/herb/banana. A little bubblgum and some hop on end.

tap at the brewpub - Pours lightly hazy and yellow with a faint yeast and citrus aroma. The flavor is light and sweet with maybe a hint of citrus. The body was too thin. The finish was clean. I agree with some others that this was kind of disappointing for a hefeweizen, but it’s not bad.
