COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Medium hopped with malt and wheat character, a smooth fruity balance and soft creamy head. Mild fruity esters and a soft wheat flavor are the major characteristics of this beer. It is light and crisp with just enough hops to balance and round out the sweetness of the malt and wheat.

On tap at Pike Pub, Seattle. Filtered wheat beer. Gold/orange with beige head. Cereal/lemon aroma. Dull weisse, bit bland, syrupy in mouth. Where’s the lemon/herb/banana. A little bubblgum and some hop on end.

Slightly hazy pale golden colour with small white head. Citrus, wheat and spices in aroma. Wheat, sweetish fruits, citrus and some mild hops in flavour. Slightly thin.

Water and wheat on the nose, (american wheat style) no clove/banana. Thinnish and oddly bitter late.

On tap at the pub. Dark amber. No head. Light aroma is more melon than citrus. OK middle of the road beer.

Tap: Clear yellow-gold color with not much head. Not that impressive, but not offensive either. Light and crisp. Not really my favorite style.

tap at the brewpub - Pours lightly hazy and yellow with a faint yeast and citrus aroma. The flavor is light and sweet with maybe a hint of citrus. The body was too thin. The finish was clean. I agree with some others that this was kind of disappointing for a hefeweizen, but it’s not bad.

Skyview (4738) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUN 22, 2008
On draught at the brewpub in downtown Seattle, WA. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and minimal lacing. Aroma of very light white bread malt, some yeast and orange zest. Taste is light bodied, some extra carbonation with flavors of multi-grain light malt, lemon and a touch of citrus zest. Finish is semi-dry with a mild bitterness and some citrus aftertaste. It’s missing some of the Hefeweizen character with cloves and banana but it is still a decent summer light beer.
