A full-bodied beer with deep chocolate color, velvety malt texture, and a dark-roasted flavor, with hints of smokiness and coffee. It combines the dryness of traditional Dublin-style stout with the strength and character of Imperial Stout.

bottle poured a dark black in color with a coating of heavy brown head when poured with some force. aroma has roasted malt, chocolate, tobacco, mild coffee, and some faint hops. thick mouth feel with low side carbonation that coats well. flavor gets a bigger roast, chocolate, light bitterness, and some mild coffee. this bottle was bought with a 2007 barley wine and has some oxidation so this is probably a bit aged as well.

Very dark, pour vigorously but still got only a little tan head. Aroma is intense with with chocolate. Taste is strong chocolate and coffee and bitterness. Finish is bitter, but wants you having another sip. Great stuff.

OH my god. This is awesome. A deep black pour with a big frothy tan head. Aroma is nutty, malty and hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is super malty, bitter and slightly hoppy. Chocolate taste at the end. Almost flat carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Overall, an awesome stout with tons of flavour and nice bitterness.

Pours dark like cola with a flat carbonation and tan head. Chocolate, roasted coffee, caramel, and vanilla in the nose. The taste is similar with extra roasted flavors. The palate is moderately thick and lingers on the tongue. A pretty great stout.

( 22oz bomber) Clear very dark brown with oily bubbles. Nose of olives, licorice, dark chocolate. Taste of dry cocoa, dark chocolate. Body is a little thin but it’s creamy and drinkable.
