On tap at the brewery on 3/17/12. Color is a deep ruby with light carbonation and a thin tight head. Aroma is sweet with dark fruit and toffee. Flavor of dried fruit, toffee, Belgian yeast and a hint of white pepper. After taste is lightly bitter with a nice yeasty spice. Overall its a very well done Dubbel with nice classic Belgian flavors.

Tap @ PPBC. Cloudy, ruby orange appearance with a cream colored head. Slightly burnt, richly caramelized, candy sugar, dark plum, raisin aroma. Very rich, dark caramel malty, dark fruity flavor.
