Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma has notes of caramel, toffee, nice chocolate, oatmeal, some roast, coffee notes mix with slight spice, pretty nice smelling. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee and sweet milk chocolate quickly followed by dark chocolate, roast, nice espresso and bitter grain, finishing fairly bitter and dry. Nicely done.

draft. roast and rough chocolate malt combined with stronger-than-expected alcohol, sweet green coffee beans and astringent grain husks. has a robust roast / char character, but it’s far too sweet and sludgy to enjoy.

Tap @ PPBC. Dark brown appearance with a cream colored head. Roasty, dark chocolate malty, moderate espresso, light vanilla aroma that’s quite nice. A touch burnt, rich dark chocolate malty flavor with a significant espresso element. Nice beer!

On tap at the brewery. Color is black with good carbonation and a nice head. Aroma is a light roasted scent that has a hint of coffee. It has a full body and creamy mouth feel. Flavor comes in sweet with deep roasted malt and chocolate then a roasted almond taste with a hint of hops and a mild bitterness. Overall its a very well done Stout.
